## Depending on your situation

- **Your shop is down** — Payment failing, site unreachable, a 500 error after an update: I look at the code and the logs to understand what's broken, without a padded quote before I've even made a diagnosis.

## The first exchange

1. **You describe the problem** — By email or phone: symptoms, available access, whether it's genuinely urgent.
2. **I look before I quote** — Access to the admin, server or code repository when needed, to avoid a quote built on guesswork.
3. **You get a written brief** — What will be done, what won't be, and a price range — not a number pulled out of thin air.

## FAQ

### Do you only work on PrestaShop and WooCommerce?

Those are my two specialities, where I have the most experience. I also work on Shopify, and I build in PHP/Laravel and Node.js for needs that fall outside a standard e-commerce platform.

### Do you work remotely?

Yes, almost all work is done remotely, through access to the admin, server or code repository. A call or video chat is usually enough to scope the need at the start.

### How long before I get a reply?

I reply to messages within a reasonable time, with no contractual commitment stated on this site. For an emergency, a call is the most direct way to reach me quickly.

### Do you offer a fixed-price package?

Not usually, except for clearly bounded work. Most jobs are priced after a diagnosis, either time-and-materials or fixed-price depending on the nature of the work.

### Will you take over a project someone else started?

Yes, provided I can access the code and understand what's already been done. I'll say clearly if the state of the project doesn't allow for clean work on top of it.
